Fueled by a shared belief that North Carolina’s capital city is ready for Major League Baseball, the movement united fans, business leaders, and communities across the Triangle around a common vision: bringing MLB to Raleigh.

Through community engagement, advocacy, and strategic awareness campaigns, MLB Raleigh helped spark statewide conversation and generated significant local and national media attention. As momentum grew, elected officials, civic leaders, and influential voices across North Carolina began to recognize the opportunity and potential impact of Major League Baseball in the region.
That momentum reached a major turning point when Tom Dundon stepped forward to help lead an ownership group focused on bringing MLB to North Carolina. With experienced leadership, growing public support, and national attention surrounding MLB expansion, the effort has evolved from a grassroots movement into a serious and credible pursuit.
Now it’s time to take what you’ve built in Raleigh and welcome the entire state.
